REGISTER TODAY!The Scholarship Committee is an extension of the St. Louis Friends of Birthright whose fundraising efforts provide educational support to Birthright clients. The money raised by the Scholarship Committee enables clients to continue their education throughout their pregnancy and after the birth of their child. Because of the hope and security it brings, this assistance is often a key factor in a client’s decision to carry her baby to term.

The Run for Life & Learning is Saturday, August 27th, 2011 at Tremayne Shelter at Creve Coeur Lake. Join the hundreds of Birthright supporters who turn out each year for this fabulous event. Registration begins at 7:30 am with the first race at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome and there is something for everyone including:
• 6k Race — This is a timed event around beautiful Creve Coeur Lake.
• 1 Mile Fun Walk — All are welcome to participate and get some exercise in this enjoyable walk.
• ¼ Mile Children’s Run — Children 12 and under are invited to participate in this fun event that includes a high-five at the finish line by our special guest, FREDBIRD®!

1. Register for the Race — Sign up before August 23rd and you’ll get a free Run for Life & Learning t-shirt.
2. Join a Team — Why not invite a group of friends to join you at the event? Put together a team of 8 or more and you can take advantage of our discounted Team pricing. The team that raises the most funds will receive special recognition at the race. And each participant will get a free Run for Life & Learning t-shirt.
3. Create a Fundraising Page — Do you want to help us raise money for Birthright? It’s so easy. Click on the link above and create and customize your very own fundraising page. You can upload photos and send out your message to all your friends and family. Anyone who raises $500 or more will receive a special award at the race.

Interested in helping? We are always looking for new members to join the Scholarship Committee. Our group meets about once a month (usually in the evenings) to build support, raise funds and organize the Run for Life and Learning.
